Khắc phục: "We couldn't create the Outlook data file" khi thêm Gmail

Lỗi "We couldn't create the outlook data file" khi thêm tài khoản Gmail vào Outlook (Outlook 2016). Yahoo, các nhà cung cấp khác thì bình thường.

Nguyên nhân

  • Bug Outlook ở wizard "Add Account" (File > Add Account).
  • Simplified Account Creation Wizard (Connect Outlook to Office 365) bị lỗi.

Lưu ý: Bật "App passwords" trong cài đặt bảo mật Gmail, tạo mật khẩu ứng dụng 16 ký tự để dùng thay mật khẩu chính.

Phương pháp 1: Dùng Manage Profiles

  1. File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles > xác nhận.
  2. Đóng Outlook.

Phương pháp 2: Dùng Control Panel > Mail (cách thay thế)

  1. Win+R > control panel > Small icons > Mail.

Phương pháp 3: Tắt Simplified Account Creation qua Registry

  1. Win+R > regedit.
  2. Điều hướng: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\setup
