Gặp lỗi "Operation could not be completed" (0x00000709) khi đặt máy in mặc định. Nguyên nhân: entry registry khiến máy in mặc định tự quay về máy in cũ. Windows 10 đã bỏ tính năng Network Location aware cho Printer.

Phương pháp 1: Tắt cho phép Windows quản lý máy in mặc định
- Windows + I → Settings → Devices.
- Menu trái: Printers & scanners.
- Tắt toggle "Let Windows manage my default printer".
- Đóng tất cả → Reboot.
Phương pháp 2: Đặt máy in mặc định thủ công qua Control Panel
- Windows + X → Control Panel.
- Hardware and Sound → Devices and Printers.
- Chuột phải máy in của bạn → Set as default printer.
- Reboot.
Phương pháp 3: Sửa Registry (Phân quyền & Set Device key)
- Windows + R → regedit → Enter.
- Đi đến:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows. - Chuột phải key Windows → Permissions.
- Chọn tài khoản Administrator của bạn → tích Full Control → Apply → OK.
- Chọn key Windows, khung phải nhấp đúp Device.
- Ô Value data → gõ tên máy in chính xác → OK.
- Thoát Registry → Reboot.
- Nếu sau reboot vẫn không được: xóa key Device trong Registry → Reboot lại.
Phương pháp 4: Tạo tài khoản người dùng mới
- Windows + R → netplwiz → Enter.
- Nhấn Add → thêm user mới.
- Màn hình "How will this person sign in" → Sign in without a Microsoft account.
- Chọn Local account.
- Nhập Username & Password (để trống Password hint) → Next.
- Làm theo hướng dẫn tạo xong tài khoản.
