Sửa lỗi Windows Update 80246001 trên Windows 7

Lỗi 80246001 khi cài update quan trọng/cumulative trên Windows 7. Nguyên nhân:

• Lỗi Windows Update chung – Dùng Troubleshooter tự động sửa.
• WU component hỏng – Cài update thủ công qua Microsoft Update Catalog.
• Malware can thiệp – Quét Microsoft Safety Scanner ở Safe Mode.
• Driver Management Engine Interface (Intel) lỗi – Tải driver MEI mới từ Intel.
• Hỏng file hệ thống – Chạy SFC và DISM.
• File hỏng trong SoftwareDistribution/Catroot2 – Reset WU component, đổi tên 2 thư mục.

Cách 1: Chạy Windows Update Troubleshooter

1. Win + R → control.exe /name Microsoft.Troubleshooting → Enter.
2. Chọn Windows Update → Run the troubleshooter → Apply fix nếu có → Restart → Thử update lại.

Cách 2: Cài update thủ công (Workaround)

1. Vào Microsoft Update Catalog.
2. Tìm KB number của update bị lỗi (lọc theo OS version/architecture).
3. Download → chuột phải file .inf → Install. Lặp lại cho các update khác.

Cách 3: Quét Microsoft Safety Scanner

1. Restart giữ Shift → Troubleshoot → Advanced → Startup Settings → Restart → F5 (Safe Mode with Networking).
2. Tải MSERT.exe từ Microsoft, chạy, quét đầy đủ.
3. Restart normal, thử update.

Cách 4: Cài driver Intel MEI thủ công (nếu áp dụng)

1. Vào Intel Download Center → Intel Management Engine Driver for Windows 8.1/10.
2. Download, giải nén, chạy MEISetup.exe → restart.

Cách 5: Chạy SFC và DISM

SFC trước (offline): CMD Admin → sfc /scannow → đợi xong → restart.

DISM sau (cần internet): CMD Admin → DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth → đợi xong → restart → test update.

Cách 6: Reset toàn bộ WU Component

1. CMD Admin:

   net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver

2. Đổi tên thư mục:

   ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

3. Bật lại service:

   net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver

4. Mở Windows Update, cài update thất bại trước đó.
