Lỗi 0x80248007 xảy ra do file Windows Update bị thiếu hoặc Microsoft Software License Terms không được tìm thấy. Windows Update quan trọng để vá lỗ hổng bảo mật. Microsoft đã xác nhận lỗi này và sẽ sửa trong bản cập nhật sau, nhưng bạn cần khắc phục ngay.

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục hệ thống.
Phương pháp 1: Xóa nội dung thư mục SoftwareDistribution
- Win + R →
services.msc→ tìm Windows Update → chuột phải → Stop. - Mở thư mục:
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore→ xóa tất cả file bên trong (xác nhận UAC). - Quay lại
SoftwareDistribution\Download→ xóa tất cả file. - Quay lại services.msc → Start Windows Update service → thử update lại.
Phương pháp 2: Khởi động lại Windows Installer Service
- Command Prompt (Admin) → chạy:
net start msiserver
- Đợi xong → Restart.
Phương pháp 3: Đảm bảo các dịch vụ Windows Update đang chạy
services.msc→ kiểm tra 5 dịch vụ sau đang chạy (Running) và Startup type = Automatic:

BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service)
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
COM+ Event System
DCOM Server Process Launcher- Double-click từng dịch vụ → Startup type: Automatic → Start (nếu chưa chạy) → Apply → OK.
- Restart → thử Windows Update.
Phương pháp 4: Windows Update Troubleshooter
- Control Panel → Troubleshooting → View all → Windows Update → chạy → Restart.
