Khắc phục lỗi Windows Explorer has stopped working

Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) crash liên tục do: file hệ thống hỏng, malware, driver màn hình cũ, driver không tương thích, hoặc RAM lỗi.

Các phương pháp khắc phục

Tạo điểm khôi phục trước.

Phương pháp 1: SFC và CHKDSK

1. Command Prompt (Admin): sfc /scannow và sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows.
2. Chạy CHKDSK: chkdsk c: /r (đồng ý quét khi reboot).

Phương pháp 2: Malwarebytes + CCleaner

1. Quét Malwarebytes toàn bộ.
2. CCleaner: Cleaner (Windows tab) > Run Cleaner; Registry > Scan > Fix (backup).
3. Restart.

Phương pháp 3: Cập nhật driver Card màn hình

Tải driver mới nhất từ NVIDIA/AMD/Intel hoặc web laptop. Cài đặt & restart.

Phương pháp 4: Clean Boot

Xem bài Clean Boot chi tiết. Nếu Explorer không crash trong Clean Boot, bật dần service/startup để tìm phần mềm gây xung đột (thường là shell extension).

Phương pháp 5: DISM RestoreHealth

1. Command Prompt (Admin): DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (15-20 phút).
2. Nếu lỗi, dùng source từ file install.wim.
3. Restart.

Phương pháp 6: Vô hiệu hóa Shell Extension gây crash (ShellExView)

1. Tải ShellExView (NirSoft), chạy.
2. Options > Hide All Microsoft Extensions.
3. Ctrl+A chọn tất cả > nút đỏ (Disable).
4. Nếu Explorer ổn định, bật từng extension (nút xanh) để tìm cái gây crash > disable hoặc gỡ chương trình đó.

Phương pháp 7: Tắt Thumbnail

1. File Explorer > View > Options > Change folder and search options.
2. Tab View > tích Always show icons, never thumbnails.
3. Restart.

Phương pháp 8: Windows Memory Diagnostic

1. Tìm "Windows Memory Diagnostic" > chọn Restart now and check for problems.
2. Nếu phát hiện lỗi RAM, thay RAM. Có thể dùng MemTest86 để kiểm tra sâu hơn.

Phương pháp 9: BSOD Troubleshooter (Windows 10 1607+)

Settings > Troubleshoot > Hardware and Sound > Blue Screen > Run.
