Khắc phục lỗi 'The Dependency Service or Group Failed to Start' Windows

Sửa lỗi The Dependency Service or Group Failed to Start: Do dịch vụ Windows không khởi động. File hệ thống nlasvc.dll (system32) bị nhầm là virus → corrupt → xung đột với dịch vụ Network Location Awareness (NLA). Dịch vụ này thu thập/lưu cấu hình mạng và thông báo khi thay đổi. Nếu corrupt, các dịch vụ phụ thuộc cũng fail.

Triệu chứng: Icon mạng có dấu X đỏ, "Connection status: Unknown – The dependency service or group failed to start". Không kết nối được Internet dù cắm dây LAN. Network Troubleshooter báo "The Diagnostic Policy Service is not running" và thoát. Nguyên nhân: dịch vụ localservice và networkservice bị corrupt/xóa.

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục trước khi thực hiện.

Phương pháp 1: Thêm Localservice và Networkservice vào nhóm Administrators

  1. CMD Admin → gõ lần lượt:
    net localgroup administrators localservice /add
    net localgroup administrators networkservice /add
  2. Exit CMD → Reboot. Thường khắc phục xong lỗi.

Phương pháp 2: Cấp quyền Registry cho Network/Local Service (SubInACL)

  1. Tải SubInACL từ Microsoft → cài đặt.
  2. Notepad → lưu file permission.bat (All files) với nội dung:
    subinacl.exe /subkeyreg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc" /grant="Local Service"
    subinacl.exe /subkeyreg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc" /grant="Network Service"
  3. Chạy file .bat → Reboot.
  4. Nếu lỗi DHCP: thêm 2 dòng tương tự cho khóa dhcp.

Phương pháp 3: Bật thủ công các dịch vụ cần thiết

  1. services.msc → đảm bảo các dịch vụ sau Running, Startup: Automatic:
    Application Layer Gateway Service
    Network Connections
    Network Location Awareness (NLA)
    Plug and Play
    Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
    Remote Access Connection Manager
    Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
    Telephony
  2. Chuột phải từng dịch vụ → Properties → Start (nếu chưa chạy) → Automatic.
  3. Reboot → kiểm tra.
  4. Nếu vẫn lỗi, bật thêm: COM+ Event System, Computer Browser, DHCP Client, Network Store Interface Service, DNS Client, RPC, Server, Security Accounts Manager, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper, WLAN AutoConfig, Workstation.
    Lưu ý: Bỏ qua lỗi "Error 1186: Element not found" (DHCP) và "Error 1068" (NLA) nếu hiện.

Phương pháp 4: Reset Network Adapter

  1. CMD Admin → netsh winsock reset catalog → netsh int ip reset reset.log hit
  2. Thông báo "Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog." → Reboot.

Phương pháp 5: Reset TCP/IP về mặc định

  1. CMD Admin → gõ lần lượt:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    nbtstat –r
    netsh int ip reset reset c:\resetlog.txt
    netsh winsock reset
  2. Reboot. Flush DNS thường khắc phục được.

Phương pháp 6: Thay thế file nlasvc.dll bị corrupt

  1. Cần máy khác hoạt động bình thường. Copy C:\windows\system32\nlasvc.dll ra USB.
  2. Cắm USB vào máy lỗi → CMD Admin.
    takeown /f c:\windows\system32\nlasvc.dll
    cacls c:\windows\system32\nlasvc.dll /G your_username:F (thay your_username = user máy bạn).
  3. Đến C:\windows\system32\ → rename nlasvc.dll → nlasvc.dll.old → copy file từ USB vào.
  4. Chuột phải nlasvc.dll → Properties → Security → Advanced → Owner: Change → gõ NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller → Check Names → OK → Apply → OK.
  5. Reboot.

Phương pháp 7: Repair Install Windows 10 (Cuối cùng)

Nếu không cách nào được → Repair Install (In-place Upgrade): sửa lỗi hệ thống mà không xóa dữ liệu user. Xem hướng dẫn "How to Repair Install Windows 10 Easily".
