Khắc phục lỗi NVIDIA Installer 'Cannot Continue' trên Windows 10

Lỗi "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" hoặc "NVIDIA Installer failed" ngăn cài đặt driver GPU. Nguyên nhân: GPU bị disable trong Device Manager, driver không khớp Device ID, hoặc cài đặt NVIDIA cũ xung đột.

Các cách khắc phục

Phương pháp 1: Bật GPU và cập nhật driver thủ công qua Device Manager

  1. Win+R > devmgmt.msc.
  2. Mở rộng Display adapters > chuột phải NVIDIA GPU > Enable device (nếu bị disable).
  3. Chuột phải > Update driver > Search automatically.
  4. Nếu không được: Update driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick from a list > chọn driver tương thích > Next.
  5. Khởi động lại.

Phương pháp 2: Tải driver NVIDIA thủ công

Truy cập trang NVIDIA Driver Downloads, chọn đúng GPU, OS, ngôn ngữ > Download > Cài đặt. (Tham khảo bài: "How to manually update Nvidia driver if GeForce Experience is not working").

Phương pháp 3: Thêm Device ID vào file INF setup (Nâng cao)

  1. Device Manager > Display adapters > NVIDIA GPU > Properties > Details tab > Property: Device instance path.
  2. Ghi lại chuỗi dạng: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0FD1&SUBSYS_05781028&REV_A1\...
    VEN_10DE = NVIDIA, DEV_0FD1 = Model GPU (ví dụ GT 650M).
  3. Vào thư mục cài đặt NVIDIA (thường: C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\xxx\Win10_64\International\Display.Driver).
  4. Backup các file .inf (nvaa.inf, nvaci.inf, nvami.inf...).
  5. Mở file .inf bằng Notepad, tìm section [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.10.0].
  6. Tìm dòng khớp VEN/DEV/SUBSYS, copy dòng đó > sửa SUBSYS khớp với máy bạn.
  7. Ví dụ: %NVIDIA_DEV.0FD1.0578.1028% = Section030, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0FD1&SUBSYS_05781028.
  8. Kéo xuống section [Strings] > thêm dòng mô tả GPU: NVIDIA_DEV.0FD1.0578.1028 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M".
  9. Lưu file > Chạy Setup.exe từ thư mục cha (C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\xxx\Win10_64\International).

Phương pháp 4: Gỡ cài đặt hoàn toàn NVIDIA và cài lại

  1. Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > gỡ tất cả phần mềm NVIDIA (Graphics Driver, GeForce Experience, PhysX, 3D Vision...).
  2. Khởi động lại.
  3. Tải bộ cài mới nhất từ NVIDIA > Cài đặt.

Phương pháp 3 phức tạp nhưng hiệu quả cao khi installer không nhận diện GPU do thiếu Device ID trong file INF.
