Lỗi "An authentication error has occurred. The Function Requested is not Supported." xuất hiện khi kết nối RDP từ Windows 7 đến Server 2012, trong khi Windows 10 kết nối bình thường.
Cách khắc phục lỗi "The Function Requested is not Supported" trong Remote Desktop Connection
Phương pháp 1: Tắt Network Level Authentication (NLA) trên Server RDP
- Mở System Properties → tab Remote.
- Bỏ tích (clear) ô Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication → OK.
Lưu ý: Nếu Server RDP là Windows 7, hãy tích vào Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure).
- Thử kết nối lại từ Client RDP.
Phương pháp 2: Bật Encryption Oracle Remediation trên Client RDP
Thay đổi cài đặt "Encryption Oracle Remediation" trên máy Client.
Trên Windows Professional/Enterprise (có gpedit.msc):
- Win + R → gõ gpedit.msc → Enter.
- Điều hướng: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Credentials Delegation.
- Bên phải, mở Encryption Oracle Remediation.
- Chọn Enabled → Protection Level chọn Vulnerable → OK.
- Đóng Group Policy Editor → thử kết nối RDP.
Trên Windows Home (không có gpedit.msc):
- Mở Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Chạy lệnh registry:
reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\CredSSP\Parameters" /f /v AllowEncryptionOracle /t REG_DWORD /d 2
- Đóng CMD → Restart máy.
- Sau reboot, kết nối RDP đến Server.
