Khắc phục lỗi Feature Update Windows 10 v1809 (October 2018 Update) không cài được

Microsoft phát hành lại v1809 ngày 13/11/2018 nhưng nhiều user báo lỗi: hệ thống treo hoặc rollback về v1803.

Triệu chứng 1: Treo tại logo Windows khi cài v1809, buộc phải tắt máy bằng nút nguồn.

Triệu chứng 2: Reboot → "Undoing Changes" → về v1803 → tải lại v1809 →.fail lặp lại hoặc lỗi 0x800F081F: "The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during INSTALL_UPDATES operation."

Lưu ý quan trọng TRƯỚC KHI CẬP NHẬT:

  1. Gỡ tạm thời antivirus/bảo mật thứ 3 (non-Microsoft).
  2. Ngắt thiết bị USB không cần thiết (disk, mouse/keyboard wireless, card mạng USB...).
  3. Đảm bảo ổ cứng trống ≥ 20GB. Xem: How to Free Up Disk Space with Disk Cleanup.
  4. Nếu bật Developer Mode: Tắt nó.
    Settings → Update & Security → For developers → Sideload apps → Yes.
    Settings → Apps → Manage optional features → Windows Developer Mode → Uninstall.
    Restart → thử update.
  5. Chạy Windows Update Troubleshooter: Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Windows Update.

Phương pháp 1: Buộc Windows tải lại v1809 từ đầu (Xóa SoftwareDistribution)

Bước 1: Xóa thư mục Windows Update
  1. Win + R → services.msc → OK.

  1. Tìm Windows Update → chuột phải → Stop.
  2. Đóng Services.

* Nếu không Stop được: Double-click → Startup type = Disabled → OK → Restart → tiếp tục.

  1. Explorer → C:\Windows → xóa thư mục SoftwareDistribution.

* Nếu lỗi "Folder in use": Boot vào Safe Mode xóa. Sau xóa: Services → Start Windows Update hoặc set Automatic.

  1. Restart máy.
Bước 2: Tải và cài đặt v1809
  1. Start → Settings → Update & Security.
  2. Check for updates → để Windows tải và cài lại.

Phương pháp 2: Cài đặt mới nhất Servicing Stack Update (SSU)

  1. Tải và cài SSU mới nhất cho Windows 10 v1803.
  2. Chạy file cài SSU.
  3. Xong → thử cài update v1809 lại.

Phương pháp 3: Cài đặt thủ công Windows 10 v1809 bằng Update Assistant

  1. Làm Bước 1 Phương pháp 1 (xóa SoftwareDistribution).
  2. Vào trang download Windows 10 → nhấn Update now.

  1. Chọn Run file Windows10Upgrade9252.exe hoặc Save để chạy sau.

Phương pháp 4: Sửa lỗi Windows bằng DISM & SFC

  1. CMD Admin (Search "cmd" → Run as Administrator).

  1. Chạy: Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

  1. Đợi DISM sửa xong (thông báo component store repaired) → chạy: SFC /SCANNOW

  1. SFC xong → Restart → thử update lại.
