An authentication error has occurred.
The function requested is not supported

Nguyên nhân

Tháng 3/2019 Microsoft phát hành update Windows 10 vá lỗ hổng Credential Security Support Provider protocol (dùng bởi RDP). Update này gây sự cố RDP. Chi tiết update tại đây.

Update áp dụng policy "encryption oracle remediation" mới trên server/client, yêu cầu kết nối RDP bảo mật.

Có vài cách giải quyết. Dễ nhất: thêm registry entry trên máy client (máy kết nối).

Cách khắc phục RDP Authentication Error do CredSSP

Fix 1: Thêm Registry Entry (Dễ nhất)

  1. Start → gõ regedit → Enter
  2. Đi đến: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Policies > System > CredSSP > Parameters
  3. Double-click AllowEncryptionOracle
  4. Value data: nhập 2
  5. OK

  6. Đóng Registry Editor
  7. Thử kết nối RDP lại

Vẫn lỗi → Fix 2.

Fix 2: Sửa Local Group Policy (Áp dụng cho tất cả user)

  1. Start → gõ gpedit.msc → Enter
  2. Đi đến: Computer Configuration → Administrative Template → System → Credentials Delegation
  3. Double-click Encryption Oracle Remediation

  4. Chọn Enabled, Protection Level = Vulnerable

  5. OK đóng gpedit
  6. Thử RDP lại. Vẫn lỗi → Fix 3 (nếu có)

Lưu ý: Fix 2 áp dụng cho tất cả user trên hệ thống, phù hợp môi trường doanh nghiệp.
