Cách khắc phục lỗi Windows Update Error Code 80246007

Mã lỗi 80246007 nghĩa là cập nhật chưa được tải xuống. Vấn đề xảy ra khi Windows có bản cập nhật cần cài đặt nhưng không tải được từ kho Windows.

Rất khó chịu cho người dùng thử hiểu tại sao tải thất bại – nguyên nhân nhiều: server cập nhật down, antivirus chặn nhầm, hoặc kết nối internet không ổn định.

Mã lỗi 0x80246007 – Cách giải quyết

Lỗi này xảy ra khi tải cập nhật Windows hoặc cập nhật/tải app từ Windows Store. Microsoft giải thích đơn giản: "The update has not been downloaded".

Khá phiền toái, nhất là khi app cần cập nhật quan trọng. Thông tin về lỗi này hiếm, nhưng có nhiều cách sửa hiệu quả cho mọi mã lỗi cập nhật.

1. Tắt Antivirus và Firewall

Antivirus cần thiết vì mối đe dọa trực tuyến nhiều. Nhưng đôi khi chúng chặn Windows Update truy cập internet – gây mã lỗi.

  1. Tắt antivirus của bạn (cách làm khác nhau tùy phần mềm).
  2. Nếu dùng Win 10, cũng tắt Windows Defender: chuột phải biểu tượng khiên thanh tác vụ > Open > biểu tượng khiên dưới nút Home > Virus & threat protection settings > tắt Real-time protection và Cloud-based protection.
  3. Chuyển đến biểu tượng trình duyệt (thứ 2 từ cuối) > tắt Check apps and files.
  4. Tắt SmartScreen for Windows Store apps bên dưới.

Windows Firewall cũng có thể chặn kết nối không nhận diện – có thể đang chặn kết nối cập nhật.

  1. Mở Control Panel (Start > tìm Control Panel).
  2. View by: Small icons > Windows Firewall.
  3. Chọn "Turn Windows Firewall on or off" (menu bên trái).
  4. Chọn "Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended)" cho cả Private và Public network.
  5. OK và thử cập nhật lại.

Lưu ý: Dù antivirus/firewall gây lỗi cập nhật, bạn KHÔNG NÊN để máy không bảo vệ. Hãy bật lại antivirus, Windows Defender, Firewall ngay sau khi cập nhật thành công.

2. Khắc phục sự cố Windows Update và kết nối Internet

Win 10 có sẵn troubleshooter tự động nhận diện và sửa lỗi – giúp ích lớn cho người ít kinh nghiệm.

  1. Giữ phím Windows + I để mở Settings.
  2. Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  3. Chạy Windows Update troubleshooter trước – kiểm tra dịch vụ/quy trình cập nhật.
  4. Sau khi xong, chạy Internet Connections troubleshooter.
  5. Kiểm tra xem đã sửa được chưa.

3. Kiểm tra Windows Image và file hệ thống

Lỗi cập nhật thường liên quan đến Windows Image hoặc file hệ thống. Windows có công cụ tích hợp sửa tự động.

DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) kiểm tra và sửa Windows Image.
SFC (System File Checker) tìm và sửa/thay thế file hệ thống lỗi/thiếu.

  1. Mở Command Prompt Admin (tìm Command Prompt > chuột phải > Run as administrator).
  2. Chạy DISM (có thể mất đến 20 phút):
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  1. Sau khi DISM xong, chạy SFC:
sfc /scannow
  1. Thử cập nhật lại app hoặc chạy Windows Update kiểm tra.

4. Reset thủ công các thành phần Windows Update

Giải pháp phức tạp nhất nhưng hiệu quả – reset mọi thứ liên quan đến Windows Update.

  1. Mở Command Prompt Admin.
  2. Dừng các dịch vụ: MSI Installer, Windows Update, BITS, Cryptographic:
net stop msiserver
net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
net stop cryptSvc
  1. Đổi tên thư mục Catroot2 và SoftwareDistribution:
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
  1. Khởi động lại các dịch vụ:
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
  1. Khởi động lại máy, kiểm tra lỗi.

Lưu ý: Không thể đổi tên thư mục bước 3 nếu chưa dừng dịch vụ bước 2. Làm đúng thứ tự, đăng nhập admin, chạy Command Prompt Admin.
