Sửa lỗi Code 43 AMD Radeon GPU trên Device Manager

Lỗi Code 43 ("Windows has stopped this device") trên AMD Radeon GPU (dấu chấm than vàng Device Manager). Nguyên nhân:

  • Cài driver sai – Chạy Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
  • Driver AMD cũ – Một số GPU cũ cập nhật qua Windows Update. Cài tất cả update pending.
  • Xung đột driver GPU – Laptop có cả integrated + discrete (Dell, Lenovo hay gặp). Gỡ sạch driver AMD → cài lại từ AMD.
  • Driver motherboard cũ – BIOS firmware không tương thích Win 10. Update BIOS mới nhất.
  • Hỏng file hệ thống – Repair install hoặc Clean install Windows.
  • GPU firmware cho mining – Cần patch clock limit (ATIKMDAG-Patcher).
  • GPU cũ mining (custom firmware) – Flash lại BIOS stock.

Cách 1: Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter (Win 10)

  1. Settings → Troubleshoot → Hardware and Devices → Run troubleshooter → Apply fix → Restart.

Cách 2: Cài tất cả Windows Update

  1. Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates → cài tất cả (Important, Cumulative) → restart sau mỗi lần → test Device Manager.

Cách 3: Cài lại driver GPU AMD

  1. Device Manager → Display adapters → chuột phải AMD GPU → Uninstall device.
  2. Win + R → appwiz.cpl → sắp xếp Publisher → gỡ tất cả phần mềm AMD Corp (Catalyst, supporting software).
  3. Restart → Windows load driver generic.
  4. Vào trang AMD driver download → Auto-Detect hoặc chọn model → tải & cài driver mới → test.

Cách 4: Update driver Motherboard/BIOS

  1. Xác định model mainboard (Speccy) → trang chủ hãng → tải driver/BIOS mới nhất.
  2. Cài theo hướng dẫn hãng (E-Z Flash ASUS, M-Flash MSI...) → restart → test.

Cách 5: Repair Install / Clean Install Windows

Nếu các cách trên thất bại → hỏng file hệ thống sâu. Clean Install dễ hơn (từ Settings, mất data ổ C nếu không backup). Repair Install (In-place Upgrade) giữ data nhưng cần USB cài Win, phức tạp hơn.

Cách 6: ATIKMDAG-Patcher (cho mining)

Tải AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher → giải nén → chạy atikmdag-patcher as Admin → làm theo hướng dẫn → restart → test. Lưu ý: Phần mềm không chính thức AMD, tự chịu rủi ro.

Cách 7: Flash BIOS GPU về stock (rủi ro cao)

Nếu GPU cũ mining (custom BIOS) dùng đơn lẻ bị lỗi. Flash lại BIOS gốc:

  1. Tải ATIFlash (AMDVBFlash) phù hợp OS.
  2. Vào TechPowerUp VGA BIOS Collection → lọc GPU Brand, Vendor, Bus, Memory → tải BIOS stock (.rom).
  3. Chạy amdvbflashWin.exe Admin → Save BIOS hiện tại (backup) → Load Image file .rom → Program → đợi xong → restart → test Device Manager.

CẢNH BÁO: Flash BIOS GPU sai có thể biến GPU thành gạch (brick). Chỉ làm nếu am hiểu và chấp nhận rủi ro.
