Khắc phục lỗi "Windows Could Not Complete The Installation" khi cài Windows

Lỗi "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation." xảy ra khi Windows boot vào Audit Mode thay vì Welcome Mode (OOBE). Audit Mode cho phép tùy chỉnh image Windows, boot thẳng vào Desktop sau cài đặt, nhưng nếu bị kẹt ở chế độ này sẽ gây vòng lặp khởi động liên tục.

Cách 1: Chạy Automatic Repair / Startup Repair

  1. Boot từ USB/DVD cài Windows 10.
  2. Chọn ngôn ngữ → Repair your computer (góc dưới trái).
  3. Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Automatic Repair / Startup Repair.
  4. Đợi hoàn tất → Khởi động lại.

Cách 2: Kích hoạt tài khoản Administrator qua Command Prompt

  1. Màn hình lỗi: nhấn Shift + F10 mở CMD.
  2. Gõ MMC → Enter.
  3. File → Add/Remove Snap-in → Computer Management → Add → Local Computer → Finish → OK.
  4. Mở rộng: Computer Management (Local) → System Tools → Local Users and Groups → Users → Administrator.
  5. Bỏ tích Account is disabled → OK.
  6. Chuột phải Administrator → Set Password → đặt mật khẩu mạnh.
  7. Khởi động lại.

Cách 3: Chạy Account Creation Wizard (msoobe)

  1. Màn hình lỗi: Shift + F10 → CMD.
  2. Gõ: cd C:\windows\system32\oobe → Enter.
  3. Gõ: msoobe → Enter.
  4. Tạo tài khoản người dùng mới qua wizard (chuẩn bị Product Key).
  5. Finish → Khởi động lại.

Cách 4: Thay đổi yêu cầu mật khẩu trong Local Security Policy

Áp dụng khi máy vừa join domain, chính sách mật khẩu phức tạp gây lỗi.

  1. Màn hình lỗi: Shift + F10 → CMD → gõ secpol.msc.
  2. Điều hướng: Account Policies → Password Policy.
  3. Đặt Minimum password length = 0.
  4. Vô hiệu hóa Password must meet complexity requirements.
  5. Apply → OK → Khởi động lại.

Cách 5: Sửa Registry để thoát Audit Mode

  1. Màn hình lỗi: Shift + F10 → regedit.
  2. Đường dẫn: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status
  3. Sửa các giá trị sau:
  • AuditBoot = 0
  • ChildCompletion\setup.exe = 3
  • ChildCompletion\audit.exe = 0
  • SysprepStatus\CleanupState = 2
  • SysprepStatus\GeneralizationState = 7
  • UnattendPasses\auditSystem = 0
  1. Khởi động lại → Windows sẽ boot vào OOBE bình thường.

Cách 6: Vô hiệu hóa Audit Mode bằng Sysprep

Lưu ý: Sysprep sẽ reset trạng thái license Windows, cần kích hoạt lại.

  1. Màn hình lỗi: Shift + F10 → CMD.
  2. Gõ: sysprep /oobe /generalize → Enter.
  3. Đợi hoàn tất → Khởi động lại.
  4. Nếu vẫn lỗi: regedit → HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State → xóa giá trị ImageState → Khởi động lại.
