Khắc phục lỗi "Couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off" trên Windows 10

Hướng dẫn sửa lỗi "We couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off" khi cài Windows Update.

Thường do: update lịch cài khi máy tắt, hoặc cài đặt Windows Update bị nhầm lẫn cần reset.

Cách khắc phục

1. Kiểm tra thủ công xem update đã cài chưa

1. Settings → Update & Security.
   
2. View Update History (dưới cùng).
   
3. Nếu tất cả hiện "Successfully installed" → bỏ qua lỗi, restart máy lỗi sẽ mất.
   
4. Nếu thấy "Failed to install" → ghi lại số KB (ví dụ KB3213986).
   
5. Chuyển sang cách 2 để cài thủ công.

2. Cài đặt thủ công các update thất bại

1. Restart máy (xóa task update đang chờ).
2. Truy cập Microsoft Update Catalog → tìm số KB → Search.
   
3. Tải file .msu phù hợp (32/64-bit).
4. Click đúp file .msu → cài đặt → Restart.

3. Nâng cấp Feature Update mới nhất

1. Settings → Update & Security.
   
2. "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909" → Download and install now.
   
3. Tải ~5 phút → cài → Pending Restart → Restart now.
   
4. Kiểm tra lại Update History → tất cả "Successfully installed".

4. Kiểm tra dung lượng ổ cứng

Update thất bại nếu ổ C: gần đầy. Khuyên >10GB free, không quá 90% dùng.

1. File Explorer → This PC → xem Local Disk (C:).
   
2. Nếu < 10GB free → xóa file rác → thử update lại.

5. Chạy Windows Update Troubleshooter

Reset hệ thống update tự động:

1. Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot (menu trái).
2. Windows Update → Run the troubleshooter.
   
3. Tool quét → nếu có fix → Apply this fix.
