Hạ tầng Hyper-V triển khai thành công được quản lý bằng Hyper-V Manager hoặc Windows Admin Center. Có thể làm cục bộ hoặc từ xa, nhưng quản lý từ xa hiệu quả hơn, nhất là khi có nhiều server. Từ Windows 8, Microsoft tích hợp Hyper-V Client trong phiên bản Professional và Enterprise (Win 8, 8.1, 10). Cho phép IT admin quản trị từ máy client Windows thay vì phải vào Windows Server.
Quy trình kết nối Hyper-V server từ xa đơn giản: Mở Hyper-V Manager → Nhấn Connect to Server… bên phải console.
Một số IT Admin gặp sự cố khi kết nối từ Windows client đến Hyper-V server từ xa. Nguyên nhân đa dạng, bài viết tập trung vào nguyên nhân: thiếu mối tin cậy (trust) giữa máy nguồn và máy đích. Lỗi điển hình:
"An error occurred while attempting to connect to server 'ServerName'. Check that the Virtual Machine Management service is running and that you are authorized to connect to the server. Connecting to remote server failed: The WinRM client cannot process the request. A computer policy does not allow the delegation of the user credentials to the target computer…"
Vì nguyên nhân rõ ràng, dưới đây là quy trình bật tin cậy giữa Windows client và Hyper-V server từ xa.
Cho phép ủy quyền fresh credentials với xác thực NTLM-only
Bật tin cậy trên máy client Windows qua GUI (Local Group Policy Editor) hoặc PowerShell. Bài viết dùng GUI. Chính sách: Allow delegating fresh credentials with NTLM-only server authentication.
Chính sách này áp dụng cho ứng dụng dùng thành phần Cred SSP (ví dụ: Remote Desktop Connection). Credential Security Support Provider protocol (CredSSP) là provider xác thực xử lý yêu cầu xác thực cho ứng dụng khác. Bật chính sách này cho phép chỉ định server mà fresh credentials của user được ủy quyền (fresh credentials = thông tin đăng nhập bạn nhập khi chạy ứng dụ). Mặc định (Not Configured): sau xác thực lẫn nhau, ủy quyền fresh credentials cho Remote Desktop Session Host trên bất kỳ máy nào (TERMSRV/*). Disable: không ủy quyền cho máy nào.
Ví dụ: Bật chính sách trên máy nguồn (client) để kết nối đến Hyper-V server từ xa. Các bước:
- Chuột phải Start Menu → Tìm gpedit (Group Policy Editor).
- Mở Edit Group Policy.
- Điều hướng: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Credentials Delegation.
- Double-click Allow delegating fresh credentials with NTLM-only server authentication.
- Chọn Enabled (Bật).
- Nhấn Show… bên cạnh Add servers to the list.
- Nhập: WSMAN/Tên_Hyper-V_Server. Ví dụ server tên hyperv01 → gõ
wsman/hyperv01.
- Nhấn OK xác nhận.
- Nhấn Apply → OK.
Mặc định Group Policy cập nhật nền mỗi 90 phút (offset ngẫu nhiên 0-30 phút). Không muốn chờ → ép buộc cập nhật bằng CMD/PowerShell. Có thể thay đổi chu kỳ refresh từ 0 phút đến 31 ngày.
- Chuột phải Start Menu → Mở Windows PowerShell (Admin) hoặc Command Prompt (Admin).
- Nhấn Yes xác nhận chạy Admin.
- Gõ
gpupdate /force→ Enter. Chính sách cập nhật trong vài giây.
- Mở Hyper-V Manager trên máy client.
- Nhấn Connect to Server… bên phải console.
- Nhập tên Hyper-V 2019 server ở Another Computer, chọn Connect as another user. <none> → Nhấn Set User…. Ví dụ: kết nối đến server hyperv01.
- Nhập username/password. Định dạng user:
<servername\user>hoặc<domain\user>. Ví dụ: hyperv01\Administrator.
- Nhấn OK → OK lại.
- Đã kết nối thành công đến Hyper-V server từ xa.
- Thưởng thức quản lý máy ảo!
