Video Controller (VGA Compatible) là gì?
Trong Device Manager, nếu thấy **"Video Controller"** hoặc **"VGA Compatible"** ở tab **Other devices** (Thiết bị khác) với dấu chấm than vàng, nghĩa là Windows **không nhận diện được Card màn hình (GPU)**. Hệ thống chỉ dùng driver mặc định **Microsoft Basic Display Adapter** (độ phân giải thấp, không chơi game được, không hỗ trợ đa màn hình, không có tăng tốc phần cứng).
2 Bước khắc phục chuẩn
Bước 1: Gỡ cài đặt hoàn toàn driver VGA cũ (Làm sạch)
- Device Manager -> **Other devices** -> Chuột phải **Video Controller / VGA Compatible** -> **Uninstall device** -> Tick "Delete the driver software" -> Uninstall.
- Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Gỡ bỏ phần mềm driver đồ họa cũ: **NVIDIA Graphics Driver**, **AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition**, **Intel Graphics Driver**, **Intel Graphics Command Center**...
- Khuyên dùng DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller): Chạy ở Safe Mode -> Clean and restart. Sạch nhất registry & file driver.
- Restart máy.
Bước 2: Cài driver Card màn hình chính xác (Quan trọng)
Cách tự động (Khuyên dùng - Dễ, Chính xác, An toàn):
- Tải, cài Driver Booster.
- Nhấn **Scan**. Nó tự nhận diện Model GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX/RTX, AMD Radeon RX, Intel UHD/Iris Xe...).
- Mục **Display adapters** -> Nhấn **Update**. Driver Booster tải driver WHQL mới nhất từ NVIDIA/AMD/Intel và cài tự động.
- Restart.
Cách thủ công (Nâng cao):
- Biết model Laptop/Mainboard/GPU -> Vào web **NVIDIA.com / AMD.com / Intel.com** (hoặc web hãng Laptop: Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI...upport) -> Tải driver đúng Model & Windows 10 64-bit -> Cài đặt.
- Dùng lệnh
dxdiag(Win+R) -> Tab Display -> Xem Name/Manufacturer/Chip type để biết model GPU.
Lưu ý: Trên Laptop, **luôn ưu tiên driver từ web hãng Laptop (OEM)** thay vì web NVIDIA/AMD/Intel để đảm bảo tính năng chuyển đổi đồ họa (Switchable Graphics/Optimus) hoạt động đúng. Driver Booster có cơ chế ưu tiên driver OEM.
