Trong bài trước đã hướng dẫn cài MSE trên Server 2012/2012R2. Bài này hướng dẫn gỡ cài đặt khi gặp lỗi 0x8004FF04: "Microsoft Security Essentials cannot be installed on your operating system. Your version of Windows in not supported by this program" (MSE không thể cài đặt trên hệ điều hành này. Phiên bản Windows của bạn không được hỗ trợ).
Cách gỡ Microsoft Security Essentials khỏi Windows Server 2012/2012R2
- Mở Control Panel → Programs and Features.
- Chọn Microsoft Security Essentials → nhấp Uninstall.
- KHÔNG ĐÓNG cửa sổ báo lỗi "MSE installation error". Nhấn Ctrl + Alt + Delete → mở Task Manager.
- Tab Users → chuột phải vào tiến trình Microsoft Security Essentials Client Setup → chọn Open file location (Mở vị trí file).
- Chuột phải file Setup.exe → Properties (Thuộc tính).
- Tab Compatibility (Tương thích) → tích Run this program in compatibility mode for → chọn Windows 7 → OK.
- Nhấn Win + R → kéo thả file "Setup.exe" vào hộp Run.
- Chọn và sao chép (Ctrl + C) đường dẫn đầy đủ của Setup.exe từ hộp Run.
- Mở Command Prompt → dán (Ctrl + V) đường dẫn vừa copy.
- Thêm vào cuối đường dẫn: /disableoslimit /u (không dấu ngoặc) → Enter.
Ví dụ lệnh hoàn chỉnh:
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\{7F98308D-43D2-4B63-84B0-B8476794125B}\Setup.exe /disableoslimit /u - Nhấp Uninstall và làm theo các bước còn lại để gỡ hoàn toàn MSE khỏi server.
