Hướng dẫn gỡ bỏ hoàn toàn Microsoft Security Essentials trên Windows 10

Gỡ Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) trên Windows 10: Sau khi nâng cấp Win10, bạn muốn gỡ MSE vì Windows Defender đã tích hợp sẵn. Nhưng gỡ MSE thường báo lỗi 0x8004FF6F: "You don't need to install Microsoft Security Essentials". Chạy cả 2 gây xung đột, làm giảm bảo vệ.

Windows Defender chặn gỡ/cài MSE. Nếu MSE cài sẵn từ Win cũ, cách thông thường không gỡ được. Dưới đây là các phương pháp.

Gỡ Microsoft Security Essentials trên Windows 10

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục hệ thống.

Phương pháp 1: Gỡ MSE thông thường (sau khi tắt dịch vụ Defender)

1. Win + R > services.msc.
2. Tìm và Stop 2 dịch vụ: Windows Defender Service (WinDefend) và Microsoft Security Essentials.
3. Win + Q > gõ control > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.
4. Tìm Microsoft Security Essentials > chuột phải > Uninstall.
5. Vì đã tắt dịch vụ Defender, gỡ sẽ thành công. Restart máy.

Phương pháp 2: Chạy Uninstaller ở Chế độ tương thích Windows 7

Làm theo Phương pháp 1 để tắt dịch vụ Defender trước.

1. Mở Explorer > đến C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\.
2. Tìm Setup.exe > chuột phải > Properties > Tab Compatibility.
3. Nhấn Change settings for all users > tích Run this program in compatibility mode for > chọn Windows 7.
4. OK > Apply > OK.
5. Mở Command Prompt (Admin) > chạy:

   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\setup.exe /x /disableoslimit

6. Nếu không mở wizard gỡ, hãy gỡ từ Control Panel.
7. Chọn Uninstall > Restart khi xong.

Phương pháp 3: Gỡ MSE qua Command Prompt (MSIEXEC)

1. Mở Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Chạy:

   MsiExec.exe /X{75812722-F85F-4E5B-BEAF-3B7DA97A40D5}

3. Hộp thoại xác nhận > Yes/Continue.
4. Sẽ gỡ tự động MSE và bật Windows Defender. Restart máy.

Phương pháp 4: Chạy HitmanPro và Malwarebytes

Dùng để dọn dẹp malware còn sót lại sau gỡ. Xem chi tiết ở các bài trước (tải, quét, Activate free license, Clean, Restart).

Phương pháp 5: Script Batch xóa file/thư mục/Registry MSE (Nâng cao)

1. Mở Notepad, dán toàn bộ script dưới (code dài, xem bài gốc).
2. Lưu dưới dạng All Files, tên mseremoval.bat (phải có đuôi .bat).
3. Chuột phải file .bat > Run as Administrator.
4. Đợi chạy xong (nhấn phím bất kỳ để đóng) > Xóa file .bat > Restart.

Phương pháp 6: Xóa MSE qua Registry

1. Ctrl+Shift+Esc > Task Manager > End process msseces.exe.
2. Win + R > chạy:

   net stop msmpsvc
   sc config msmpsvc start= disabled

3. regedit > Xóa key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft Security Essentials

4. Tương tự xóa key MSE và Microsoft Antimalware tại:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Microsoft Security Essentials
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Security Essentials
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware

5. Mở Command Prompt (Admin) > chạy theo kiến trúc:

   cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\Backup\x86 (32-bit)
   cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\Backup\amd64 (64-bit)

6. Chạy: Setup.exe /x > Wizard gỡ hiện ra > Uninstall > Restart.
