Windows ẩn một số file hệ thống và thư mục mặc định để người dùng không vô tình xóa/sửa, vì chúng cần thiết cho hệ thống. Nhưng đôi khi bạn cần hiển thị chúng.
Để hiển thị file/thư mục ẩn: gõ File Explorer Options (Windows 11/10) hoặc Folder Options (Windows 8/7) trong Start search, Enter. Tab View, tích Hidden files, folders and drives. Để hiện cả file/thư mục hệ thống được bảo vệ, bỏ tích Hide protected operating system files.
Apply và thoát. File/thư mục ẩn sẽ hiện ra.
Tùy chọn Show hidden files and folders bị mất
Nếu mở File Explorer Options (trước gọi Folder Options) qua Windows Explorer > Organize > Folder & Search Option > Folder Options > View > Advanced Settings, mà tùy chọn Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives bị mất, hãy thử Registry hack sau để bật lại.
Tạo điểm khôi phục. Gõ regedit trong Start search, Enter. Đến khóa:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden
Bên phải, chuột phải Type > Modify. Đổi Value Data thành "group" (không dấu ngoặc).
OK > Exit.
