Triệt tiêu Sedlauncher.exe gây cao Disk Usage 100% trên Windows 10: Hướng dẫn fix nhanh

Đây là tiến trình của Windows Remediation Service - dịch vụ sửa chữa cập nhật Windows. Bài viết này phân tích nguyên nhân và đưa ra 11 phương pháp khắc phục từ nhẹ đến nặng.

Sedlauncher.exe là gì? Có phải Virus không?

KHÔNG. Sedlauncher.exe được ký số (digitally signed) bởi Microsoft. Nó là một phần của Windows Remediation Service (Dịch vụ khắc phục Windows), có nhiệm vụ:

Sửa chữa các bản cập nhật bị hỏng.
Giữ máy "thức" để cài cập nhật.
Dọn dẹp dung lượng ổ cứng để cài đặt cập nhật mới.
Tăng độ tin cậy của quá trình cập nhật (Servicing Stack).

File nằm tại: C:\Program Files\rempl\sedlauncher.exe. Các file liên quan: sedsvc.exe, rempl.exe, Sedplugins.dll, WaaSMedic.exe, osrrb.exe, remsh.exe, disktoast.exe.

Nên tắt Sedlauncher.exe không?

Phương pháp 4: Cập nhật Windows 10 lên phiên bản mới nhất

Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update → Check for updates. Bản vá mới hơn KB4023057 có thể đã fix bug high disk usage.

Phương pháp 5: Đổi tên hoặc Xóa thư mục REMPL

Win + E → C:\Program Files\.
