Khắc phục lỗi Windows Update Database Corruption Error trên Windows 10

Lỗi Windows Update Database Corruption Error được phát hiện bởi Windows Update Troubleshooter ("Potential Windows Update Database error detected") nhưng Troubleshooter báo "Not fixed" khi tự sửa. Lỗi khiến không tải được cập nhật, khiến máy dễ bị tấn công.

Sửa lỗi Windows Update Database Corruption [ĐÃ GIẢI QUYẾT]

Tạo điểm khôi phục trước khi thực hiện.

Cách 1: Chạy Windows Update Troubleshooter (thử trước)

1. Tìm "troubleshooting" → Troubleshooting → View all → Windows Update.
2. Chạy và làm theo hướng dẫn. Nếu sửa được thì tốt, không thì sang cách 2.

Cách 2: Clean Boot sau đó cập nhật Windows

1. Win + R → msconfig → Enter.
2. Tab General: chọn Selective startup → bỏ tích Load startup items.
3. Tab Services: tích Hide all Microsoft services → Disable all.
4. Tab Startup: Open Task Manager → Disable all enabled items.
5. OK → Restart.
6. Thử cập nhật Windows. Nếu thành công → vào msconfig lại → chọn Normal startup → Restart.

Cách 3: Chạy SFC và CHKDSK

1. CMD Admin → sfc /scannow và sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows.
2. Khởi động lại → chạy CHKDSK (xem bài "Fix File System Errors with Check Disk Utility").
3. Khởi động lại.

Cách 4: Chạy DISM RestoreHealth

1. CMD Admin (cần Windows Installation Media):

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
sfc /scannow

2. Khởi động lại.

Cách 5: Đổi tên thư mục SoftwareDistribution và Catroot2

1. CMD Admin → gõ lần lượt:

net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

2. Khởi động lại.
