Sửa lỗi Windows Update 80072ee2

Lỗi 80072ee2 là lỗi Windows Update do file hệ thống hỏng hoặc update bị kẹt. Cách fix dưới cũng áp dụng cho lỗi 8024400A và 8024400D.

Lưu ý: Đảm bảo internet hoạt động trên máy bị lỗi trước khi làm theo hướng dẫn (cần kết nối server Windows Update).

Các giải pháp sửa lỗi 80072ee2

Giải pháp 1: Chỉnh sửa Registry

Cách hiệu quả nhất: thay đổi registry, xóa một số khóa. Lưu ý: user môi trường home (không join domain) thường không có khóa này.

1. Win+R → gõ services.msc → OK.
2. Tìm service Windows Update, chuột phải → Stop.
3. Win+R → gõ C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution → OK.
4. Xóa toàn bộ nội dung trong thư mục này.
5. Quay lại Services Console, chuột phải Windows Update → Start.
6. Win+R → regedit.
7. Đến:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

8. Khung bên phải, tìm khóa WUServer và WUStatusServer.
9. Chuột phải từng khóa → Delete.
10. Kiểm tra service Windows Update vẫn đang Running.
11. Thử update lại — nên không còn lỗi.

Giải pháp 2: Chạy Windows Update Troubleshooter

Công cụ kiểm tra cài đặt/registry và đề xuất sửa chữa. Cần tài khoản Admin.

1. Win+S → gõ "troubleshoot" → chọn kết quả đầu tiên.
2. Chọn Windows Update → Run the troubleshooter. (Win 7: vào Control Panel thủ công).
3. Nếu yêu cầu quyền Admin → chọn Try troubleshooting as an administrator.
4. Sau khi fix xong, reboot và kiểm tra.

Lưu ý: Cần internet hoạt động. Chạy troubleshooter nhiều lần thay vì chỉ 1 lần.

Giải pháp 3: Xóa thư mục SoftwareDistribution

Thư mục C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution lưu file tạm cho update. Xóa nó sẽ xóa lịch sử update.

1. Mở CMD Admin (Win+S → "command prompt" → chuột phải → Run as administrator).
2. Chạy lần lượt:

   net stop cryptSvc
   net stop wuauserv
   net stop msiserver
   net stop bits

3. Mở Explorer, đến C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, xóa tất cả nội dung bên trong (hoặc cut/paste ra chỗ khác để backup).
4. Có thể đổi tên thư mục thành SoftwareDistributionold thay vì xóa.
5. Mở CMD Admin, chạy:

   net start cryptSvc
   net start wuauserv
   net start msiserver
   net start bits

6. Reboot máy, thử update lại.

Hoặc chạy lần lượt trong CMD Admin:

net stop wuauserv
rmdir /q /s c:\windows\softwaredistribution\.
wuauclt /detectnow

Nếu lỗi do cài đặt mạng, chạy trong CMD Admin:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

Giải pháp 4: Kiểm tra tài liệu chính thức Microsoft

Nếu dùng Windows Server, kiểm tra tài liệu Microsoft — một số update bị thay thế bởi update mới hơn. Microsoft có tài liệu hướng dẫn fix chính thức. Áp dụng các fix, reboot hoàn toàn.

Giải pháp 5: Reset hoàn toàn các module Windows Update

Nếu các cách trên thất bại, reset force toàn bộ module Windows Update. Lỗi này phổ biến do Microsoft thay đổi ngày hiệu lực trong file XML update chính. Vì sửa XML phía client sẽ vô hiệu hóa chữ ký số, Microsoft sửa ở server nhưng lỗi vẫn còn — reset module có thể giúp.

1. Mở CMD Admin.
2. Chạy lần lượt:

   net stop wuauserv
   cd %systemroot%
   ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
   net start wuauserv
   net stop bits
   net start bits
   net stop cryptsvc
   cd %systemroot%\system32
   ren catroot2 catroot2.old
   net start cryptsvc
   regsvr32 Softpub.dll /s
   regsvr32 Wintrust.dll /s
   regsvr32 Initpki.dll /s
   regsvr32 Mssip32.dll /s

3. Reboot hoàn toàn, kiểm tra.
