Norton Secure VPN thường báo "không kết nối được", "bị ngắt kết nối liên tục" trên Windows 10. Nguyên nhân: kết nối mạng không ổn định, driver WAN Miniport, DNS, firewall, hoặc chứng chỉ root.
Các giải pháp khắc phục
1. Kiểm tra kết nối Internet
Mở trình duyệt truy cập web bất kỳ. Nếu không vào được → sửa mạng trước. Thử: Sign out Norton VPN → Settings → Quick Norton Secure VPN → Restart thiết bị → Sign in lại.
2. Cập nhật Norton Secure VPN
Thông báo cập nhật → đăng nhập tài khoản → làm theo hướng dẫn.
3. Khởi động lại dịch vụ Norton Secure VPN
Win+R → services.msc → tìm Norton Secure VPN → chuột phải → Stop → chuột phải → Start.
4. Cập nhật Driver Card màn hình (Graphics Driver)
Driver cũ gây xung đột. Win+R → devmgmt.msc → Display adapters → chuột phải card → Update driver → tìm tự động hoặc cài file từ web hãng (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel) → reboot.
5. Thay đổi DNS sang Google DNS
Settings → Network & Internet → Change adapter options → chuột phải card mạng → Properties → Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) → Properties → Use the following DNS: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 → OK → thử VPN lại.
6. Kết nối vị trí ảo khác (Change Virtual Location)
Trong app Norton VPN → chọn server/ quốc gia khác → kết nối lại.
7. Quét Virus/ Malware
Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Quick scan. Hoặc quét bằng Malwarebytes để chắc chắn.
8. Reset Network (Làm mới cài đặt mạng)
Settings → Network & Internet → Status → Network reset → Reset now → reboot → kết nối lại Wi-Fi/ Ethernet.
9. Kiểm tra Root Certificate Norton VPN
Win+R → certlm.msc → Personal → Certificates → tìm entry SurfEasy (công nghệ nền Norton VPN) → xóa cert cũ/ trùng lặp → reboot → bật VPN.
10. Cài lại WAN Miniport Drivers
Device Manager → Network adapters → chuột phải WAN Miniport (dấu chấm than) → Uninstall device → Action → Scan for hardware changes → Windows tự cài lại driver sạch.
11. Cho phép Norton VPN qua Windows Firewall
Windows Security → Firewall & network protection → Allow an app through firewall → Change settings → tìm Norton Secure VPN → tích Private & Public → OK.
12. Chuyển sang VPN khác (Cuối cùng)
Nếu thử hết vẫn lỗi: cân nhắc CyberGhost, Hotspot Shield, ExpressVPN, NordVPN, ProtonVPN, Surfshark – ít lỗi hơn trên Windows 10.
