Khắc Phục Nhanh Lỗi "Local Security Authority Protection Is Off" Trên Windows

Thông báo "Local Security Authority protection is off" trong Windows Security nghĩa là tính năng LSA (Local Security Authority) bị tắt. LSA bảo vệ quy trình LSASS xử lý thông tin xác thực, ngăn chặn đánh cắp credentials. Dưới đây là các cách bật lại.

Cách 1: Sử Dụng Registry Editor

Cảnh báo: Sai sót registry có thể làm hỏng hệ thống. Hãy làm chính xác các bước sau.

  1. Windows + R → regedit → Enter → Yes (UAC).
  2. Điều hướng: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
  3. Chuột phải khoảng trống bên phải → New → DWORD (32-bit) Value → Tên: RunAsPPL.
  4. Tạo thêm DWORD: RunAsPPLBoot.
  5. Mở từng giá trị → Đặt Value data = 2 → OK.
  6. Đóng Registry Editor → Khởi động lại máy.

Cách 2: Sử Dụng PowerShell (Nhanh Hơn)

  1. Mở Windows PowerShell (Admin) (tìm trong Start → Run as Administrator).
  2. Chạy lần lượt 2 lệnh:
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa /v RunAsPPL /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa /v RunAsPPLBoot /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
  1. Đóng PowerShell → Khởi động lại máy.

Cách 3: Local Group Policy Editor (Chỉ Windows Pro/Enterprise/Education)

  1. Windows + R → gpedit.msc → Enter.
  2. Điều hướng: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Local Security Authority.
  3. Double-click Configure LSASS to run as a protected process.
  4. Chọn Enabled → Drop-down chọn Enabled with UEFI Lock → Apply → OK.
  5. Khởi động lại máy.

Cách 4: Gỡ Cập Nhật Windows Gây Lỗi

Nếu lỗi xuất hiện sau cập nhật gần đây.

  1. Control Panel → Uninstall a program → View installed updates.
  2. Gỡ cập nhật mới nhất → Khởi động lại.
  3. Tạm dừng cập nhật Windows để tránh cài lại bản lỗi:

Windows 11

  1. Windows + I → Windows Update → Menu thả xuống Pause updates → Chọn Pause for 5 weeks.

Windows 10

  1. Windows + I → Update & Security → Windows Update → Advanced options → Pause updates chọn ngày.

Cách 5: Bật Secure Boot Trong BIOS

LSA Protection yêu cầu Secure Boot bật.

Kiểm tra trạng thái:
  1. Windows + R → msinfo32 → Enter.
  2. Chọn System Summary → Xem Secure Boot State. Nếu On là đã bật.
Bật Secure Boot (nếu Off):
  1. Tắt máy hoàn toàn.
  2. Bật máy, ngay khi logo xuất hiện nhấn liên tục phím BIOS (thường F2, F10, F12, Del).
  3. Vào tab Security → Secure Boot → Bật Secure Boot Control.
  4. Tab Save & Exit → Save Changes and Exit.

Kết Luận

Lỗi "Local Security Authority protection is off" do LSA bị tắt. Cách nhanh nhất: dùng PowerShell (Cách 2) hoặc Registry (Cách 1). Nếu dùng Windows Pro, dùng Group Policy (Cách 3). Đảm bảo Secure Boot bật trong BIOS. Nếu do update lỗi, hãy gỡ và tạm dừng update. Sau khi bật xong, Windows Security sẽ không còn cảnh báo.
