Lỗi này xuất hiện khi chạy lệnh sfc /scannow - công cụ kiểm tra file hệ thống. Nguyên do là file pending.xml từ lần sửa chữa trước chưa được xóa, khiến Windows tưởng còn sửa chữa dang dở.
Cách 1: Xóa file pending.xml qua Command Prompt (Admin)
- Mở Command Prompt (Admin)
- Chạy lần lượt 2 lệnh (thử cả ổ C và D):
del d:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml
del c:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml - Chạy SFC chế độ offline:
sfc /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=c:\ /OFFWINDIR=d:\Windows
Lưu ý: Nếu bị từ chối truy cập, cần lấy quyền sở hữu thư mục WinSxS (Properties → Security → Advanced → Change Owner).
Cách 2: Đổi chế độ SATA trong BIOS sang IDE
Một số người thành công bằng cách vào BIOS, tìm mục SATA Operation (thường ở Advanced/Integrated Peripherals) → đổi từ AHCI/RAID sang IDE → Save & Exit.
Cách 3: Cập nhật driver (đặc biệt card màn hình)
Nếu kèm BSOD → cập nhật driver qua Device Manager hoặc Windows Update.
Cách 4: Sửa từ Recovery Environment
- Đăng nhập → nhấn Shift + Restart → Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Command Prompt
- Chạy lần lượt:
bcdboot C:\Windows
bootrec /FixMBR
bootrec /FixBoot
Cách 5: Xóa khóa Registry RebootPending
- Mở regedit → điều hướng:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion - Tìm khóa RebootPending → xóa (backup trước khi xóa)
