Bật/tắt sắp xếp theo số (Numerical Sorting) trong File Explorer Windows 10

Windows dùng 2 cơ chế sắp xếp: Numerical Sorting (từ XP đến 10) và Literal Sorting (Windows 2000 và cũ hơn).

• Numerical: Sắp theo giá trị số tăng dần (1, 2, 10, 20...).
• Literal: Sắp theo từng chữ số (1, 10, 2, 20...).

Tắt numerical sorting = bật literal sorting. Windows không có tùy chọn tích sẵn, phải dùng Group Policy hoặc Registry.

Bật/tắt Numerical Sorting trong File Explorer Windows 10

Tạo điểm khôi phục trước khi thực hiện.

Cách 1: Qua Registry Editor

1. Win + R > regedit > Enter.
2. Đến: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. Chuột phải Explorer > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value > tên NoStrCmpLogical.
4. Double-click > Value data:
   • 0 = Bật Numerical Sorting (mặc định)
   • 1 = Tắt Numerical Sorting (bật Literal Sorting)
5. OK > đóng Registry > reboot.

Cách 2: Qua Group Policy Editor (Chỉ Pro/Education/Enterprise)

1. Win + R > gpedit.msc > Enter.
2. Đến: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer.
3. Double-click policy: Turn off numerical sorting in File Explorer.
4. Cấu hình:
   • Bật Numerical Sorting: Not Configured hoặc Disabled
   • Tắt Numerical Sorting (bật Literal): Enabled
5. Apply/OK > đóng > reboot.
