Mặc định hộp tìm kiếm File Explorer gợi ý dựa trên lịch sử tìm kiếm trước. Hữu ích nhưng gây rò rỉ quyền riêng tư nếu máy dùng chung. Cách này tắt hoàn toàn để không phải xóa thủ công.
Bật/tắt lịch sử tìm kiếm File Explorer Windows 10
Tạo điểm khôi phục trước khi bắt đầu.
Cách 1: Qua Registry Editor
- Win + R >
regedit> Enter. - Đến:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer - Cho tất cả user: làm tương tự tại
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer - Chuột phải Explorer > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value > tên
DisableSearchBoxSuggestions. - Double-click > Value data:
- 0 = Bật lịch sử tìm kiếm
- 1 = Tắt lịch sử tìm kiếm
- OK > reboot.
- Bật lại: Xóa DWORD
DisableSearchBoxSuggestions.
Cách 2: Qua Group Policy Editor (Chỉ Pro/Education/Enterprise)
- Win + R >
gpedit.msc> Enter. - Đến: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer.
- Double-click policy: Turn off display of recent search entries in the File Explorer search box.
- Cấu hình:
- Bật lịch sử: Not Configured hoặc Disabled
- Tắt lịch sử: Enabled
- Apply/OK > reboot.
