Cách bật/tắt xem trước thumbnail (hình thu nhỏ) trong File Explorer Windows 11/10

Trên Windows 10, File Explorer hiển thị hình thu nhỏ (thumbnail previews) cho video và ảnh lưu trên ổ cứng. Hầu hết chúng ta đều quen duyệt tập tin bằng cách nhìn thumbnail – giúp điều hướng nhanh, không cần mở từng file có tên gây nhầm lẫn. Tuy nhiên, tính năng này cũng gây chậm thao tác file khác, ảnh hưởng hiệu suất, rối giao diện. Trong trường hợp đó, tắt thumbnail là ý tưởng tốt.

Nếu ảnh/file hiển thị icon chung (đầm núi/hồ cho ảnh, icon media player cho video) – thumbnail đang TẮT. Nếu thấy ảnh thu nhỏ nội dung file – thumbnail đang BẬT.

Các cách bật/tắt thumbnail previews

  1. Qua File Explorer Options
  2. Qua Control Panel
  3. Qua Registry Editor
  4. Qua Performance Options
  5. Qua Group Policy Editor

1. Qua File Explorer Options

  • Mở File Explorer > tab File > Change folder and Search options.
  • Cửa sổ Folder Options > tab View.
  • Tick Always show icons, never thumbnails (Luôn hiện icon, không bao giờ hiện thumbnail) dưới Advanced Settings để TẮT thumbnail.
  • OK > Apply.

Để BẬT: làm tương tự đến bước 3, bỏ tick tùy chọn trên.

2. Qua Control Panel

  • Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System.
  • Chọn Advanced System Settings (bên trái) > tab Advanced > nút Settings dưới Performance.
  • Tab Visual Effects > tick Show thumbnails instead of icons (Hiện thumbnail thay vì icon) dưới Custom để BẬT.
  • OK > Apply.

Để TẮT: bỏ tick tùy chọn trên.

3. Qua Registry Editor

  1. Win+R > gõ regedit > Enter.
  2. Điều hướng: 
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
  3. Bên phải tìm IconsOnly > double-click.
  4. Đổi giá trị: 0 = hiện thumbnail, 1 = ẩn thumbnail > OK.

4. Qua Performance Options

  1. Win+R > gõ SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe > Enter.
  2. Tick/bỏ tick Show thumbnails instead of icons để bật/tắt.

5. Qua Group Policy Editor

  1. Win+R > gõ gpedit.msc > Enter.
  2. Điều hướng: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer.
  3. Bên phải double-click Turn off the display of thumbnails and only display icons.
  4. Chọn Enabled (tắt thumbnail) hoặc Disabled (bật thumbnail).

Thumbnail vẫn không hiện?
