Windows 10 có công cụ mã hóa/nén tích hợp – không cần WinRAR, 7-Zip. File/thư mục nén có biểu tượng mũi tên kép màu xanh góc trên phải. Khi mã hóa/nén, tên file đổi màu: xanh lá (mã hóa EFS) hoặc xanh dương (nén). Bài viết hướng dẫn bật hiển thị màu này.
Lưu ý: Nếu file/thư mục EFS đã mã hóa bị nén, file nén sẽ không được mã hóa lại.

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục hệ thống trước khi thực hiện.
Phương pháp 1: Qua Folder Options (File Explorer)
- Windows + E mở File Explorer → tab View → Options.
- Cửa sổ Folder Options → tab View.
- Kéo xuống → tích "Hiện file EFS mã hóa hoặc nén theo màu" (Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color).
- Apply → OK.
- Tên file sẽ đổi màu theo lựa chọn.
Phương pháp 2: Qua Registry Editor
- Windows + R → regedit → Enter.
- Điều hướng:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced - Chuột phải Advanced → Mới → DWORD (32-bit) Value.
- Đặt tên: ShowEncryptCompressedColor → double-click sửa giá trị:
- Bật hiển thị màu: 1
- Tắt hiển thị màu: 0
- OK → đóng Registry Editor → reboot.
Windows 10 giúp nhận diện file nén/mã hóa nhờ màu sắc tên file.
