Khắc phục lỗi 'Selected Task No Longer Exists' trong Task Scheduler Windows

Sửa lỗi The select task “{0}” no longer exists: Khi mở Task Scheduler, bạn có thể gặp thông báo “The selected task “{0}” no longer exists. To see the current task, click Refresh.” Nhấn Refresh vẫn báo lỗi. Nguyên nhân: Task Scheduler lưu bản sao task trong Registry và file task trên ổ cứng. Nếu hai nơi không đồng bộ (task trong Registry hỏng hoặc file task trên ổ cứng hỏng) thì lỗi xuất hiện.

Vị trí task trong Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tasks

Task tree trong Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Microsoft

File task trên ổ cứng:
C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\

Sửa lỗi The select task “{0}” no longer exists

Tạo restore point. Backup Registry và thư mục C:\Windows\System32\Tasks. Nếu thao tác Registry/xóa file phức tạp, có thể Repair Install Windows 10.

Phương pháp 1: Xóa Task bị hỏng (nếu biết tên)

Ví dụ task Adobe Acrobat Update Task gây lỗi.

  1. Windows + R → regedit.
  2. Đến: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree
  3. Tìm Adobe Acrobat Update Task → double-click ID → ghi nhớ GUID (ví dụ: {048DE1AC-8251-4818-8E59-069DE9A37F14}).
  4. Chuột phải Adobe Acrobat Update Task → Delete.
  5. Xóa subkey GUID đó trong các khóa sau:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Boot
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Logon
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Maintenance
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Plain
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tasks
  6. Xóa file task tại C:\Windows\System32\Tasks (tìm file Adobe Acrobat Update Task → Delete).
  7. Reboot và kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 2: Tắt lịch desfragment ổ đĩa

  1. Windows + R → dfrgui mở Disk Defragmentation.
  2. Dưới “Scheduled optimization” chọn Change settings.
  3. Bỏ tích “Run on a schedule (recommended)” → OK.
  4. OK và reboot.
  5. Nếu vẫn lỗi, đến thư mục: C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\Defrag\
  6. Xóa file ScheduledDefrag.
  7. Reboot và kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 3: Đồng bộ thủ công Task giữa Explorer và Registry

  1. Mở thư mục C:\Windows\System32\Tasks.
  2. Mở Registry (Windows + R → regedit).
  3. Đến khóa: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\
  4. Copy tên từng task từ thư mục Tasks, tìm trong Registry subkey \TaskCache\Task và \TaskCache\Tree.
  5. Xóa bất kỳ task nào trong C:\Windows\System32\Tasks mà không tìm thấy trong Registry.
  6. Đồng bộ xong, reboot.

Phương pháp 4: Xác định Task hỏng trong Task Scheduler

  1. Windows + R → Taskschd.msc.
  2. Khi báo lỗi, nhấn OK để đóng.
  3. Số lần báo lỗi = số task hỏng (ví dụ 5 lần = 5 task hỏng).
  4. Đến: Task Scheduler(Local)\Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows
  5. Mở rộng Windows, chọn từng task cho đến khi gặp lỗi “selected task {0}”. Ghi nhớ tên thư mục.
  6. Đến thư mục: C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows
  7. Tìm cùng thư mục đó và xóa (file hoặc thư mục).
  8. Lưu ý: Phải đóng/mở lại Task Scheduler sau mỗi lần xóa.
  9. So sánh thư mục Task Scheduler và Task folder, xóa file/folder có ở Task folder mà không có ở Task Scheduler. Lặp lại cho đến khi không còn lỗi.
  10. Reboot.

Phương pháp 5: Xóa khóa Registry Task

  1. Backup Registry, đặc biệt khóa TaskCache\Tree.
  2. Mở Registry, đến: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree
  3. Chuột phải Tree → Export backup.
  4. Backup toàn bộ file trong C:\Windows\System32\Tasks.
  5. Chuột phải Tree registry key → Delete → xác nhận Yes/OK.
  6. Mở Task Scheduler (Taskschd.msc).
  7. Menu Action → Import Task, import từng task từ backup. Nếu khó, restart máy – Windows sẽ tự tạo lại task.

Phương pháp 6: Tạo tài khoản người dùng mới

  1. Windows + I → Settings → Accounts.
  2. Tab Family & other people → Add someone else to this PC.
  3. Chọn I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.
  4. Chọn Add a user without a Microsoft account.
  5. Nhập username/password → Next.

Phương pháp 7: Repair Install Windows 10
