Hướng Dẫn Xóa Liên Kết File (File Type Associations) Trên Windows 10

File Type Associations liên kết đuôi file (ví dụ .txt, .jpg) với chương trình mặc định. Khi liên kết bị hỏng (file .txt mở bằng Excel, .pdf mở bằng trình duyệt…), cần xóa liên kết cũ để thiết lập lại. Dưới đây là 5 cách từ đơn giản đến nâng cao.

5 Cách Xóa Liên Kết File Type Trên Windows 10

Lưu ý: Tạo Restore Point trước khi sửa Registry.

Cách 1: Reset Về Mặc Định Microsoft (Khuyên Dùng)

  1. Win + I → Apps → Default apps.
  2. Kéo xuống → Reset (dưới "Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults").
  3. Xong — tất cả liên kết file về mặc định Windows.

Cách 2: Xu Nhập Liên Kết Bằng DISM (Cho Môi Trường Nhiều Máy)

Yêu cầu: Một máy Windows hoạt động bình thường để export.

  1. Máy tốt: CMD (Admin) → dism /online /Export-DefaultAppAssociations:"%UserProfile%\Desktop\DefaultAppAssociations.xml"
  2. Copy file XML sang máy lỗi (đặt ra Desktop).
  3. Máy lỗi: CMD (Admin) → dism /online /Import-DefaultAppAssociations:"%UserProfile%\Desktop\DefaultAppAssociations.xml"
  4. Reboot.

Cách 3: Sửa Registry (Xóa Khóa FileExts)

  1. Win + R → regedit.
  2. Đến: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts
  3. Tìm đuôi file cần xóa (ví dụ .txt) → chuột phải → Delete.
  4. Nếu vẫn không được: xóa cùng khóa ở HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.txt.
  5. Reboot hoặc restart explorer.exe (Ctrl+Shift+Esc → Task Manager → Windows Explorer → Restart).

Cách 4: Tạo File Giả Để Buộc Hỏi Lại Chương Mở (Thủ Thuật)

  1. Mở Notepad → File > Save as → tên: test.xyz → Save as type: All Files → lưu ra Desktop.
  2. Chuột phải file thật cần sửa liên kết (ví dụ image.png) → Open with → Choose another app.
  3. Tích Always use this app to open .png files → Look for another app on this PC.
  4. Chọn All files → chọn file test.xyz vừa tạo → Open.
  5. Sẽ báo lỗi "This app can't run" → OK.
  6. Xóa file test.xyz.
  7. Mở lại file .png → Windows sẽ hỏi chọn chương trình mới → chọn app mong muốn → tích Always.

Cách 5: Dùng Công Cụ Unassociate File Types (Phần Mềm Thứ 3)

  1. Tải Unassoc (tìm trên GitHub hoặc MajorGeeks).
  2. Giải nén → chuột phải unassoc.exe → Run as administrator.
  3. Chọn đuôi file trong danh sách → Remove file association (User).
  4. Reboot.

Cách 1 là nhanh nhất và an toàn nhất. Cách 3, 5 dành cho người rành Registry. Cách 4 là thủ công không cần phần mềm.
