Để ngăn chặn người khác thay đổi cài đặt hệ thống (User Accounts, Privacy, Security...), quản trị viên có thể vô hiệu hóa hoàn toàn Control Panel và Settings App. Khi click vào sẽ báo lỗi: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions...".

Phương pháp 1: Registry Editor (Mọi edition)
- Win + R →
regedit. - Tạo DWORD NoControlPanel = 1 tại 2 khóa:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer - Khởi động lại. Muốn bật lại: xóa DWORD NoControlPanel.
Phương pháp 2: Group Policy Editor (Chỉ Pro/Education/Enterprise)
- Win + R →
gpedit.msc. - Đến: User Configuration → Administrative Templates → Control Panel.
- Double-click "Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings" → Enabled → Apply/OK.
- Khởi động lại. Bật lại: chọn Not Configured/Disabled.
Cảnh báo: Sau khi bật, chính bạn (admin) cũng không truy cập được. Hãy chắc chắn trước khi áp dụng!
