Khắc phục lỗi 'Please Insert a Disk' trên USB

Thông thường cắm USB vào PC sẽ được gán ký tự ổ và truy cập qua File Explorer. Nhưng đôi khi USB không hoạt động, báo lỗi “Insert Disk” ngăn truy cập dữ liệu.

Bạn có thể thấy popup “Repair this drive, We found an error on this drive. To prevent data loss, repair this drive now” qua Windows Error Checking. Nhiều người bỏ qua vì vẫn truy cập được. Sau vài lần cắm/rút, bạn đồng ý repair – nhưng repair thất bại giữa chừng, từ đó không truy cập được dữ liệu.

Khi cắm USB, tên không hiển thị, chỉ thấy “Removable Disk”. Click vào báo lỗi:

Please Insert a Disk into Removable Disk [ký tự ổ]

Mở Properties ổ: 0 bytes used, 0 bytes free. Không format được (báo “Windows was unable to complete the format”). Đôi khi ký tự ổ bị dự trữ cho Windows – đổi ký tự ổ sẽ khắc phục.

Tạo restore point trước.

Phương pháp 1: Đổi ký tự ổ USB

Windows + R → diskmgmt.msc mở Disk Management.
Chuột phải USB Drive → Change Drive Letter and Paths.
Chọn Change, pick ký tự ổ bất kỳ (khác ký tự hiện tại) → OK.
Chọn Yes xác nhận cảnh báo.
Đóng Disk Management, thử truy cập USB lại.

Phương pháp 2: Sửa chữa và khôi phục dữ liệu

Tải JetFlash Online Recovery chạy file .exe. Chọn dung lượng ổ → Next. Công cụ này dành cho Transcend nhưng vẫn chạy trên các hãng khác (rủi ro tự chịu). Hãng khác có tool riêng (ví dụ HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool cho USB HP).

Phương pháp 3: Chạy Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Windows + R → control Enter.
Mở Control Panel, tìm “Troubleshooting” góc trên phải → click.
Bên trái chọn View all.
Chạy Troubleshooter for Hardware and Device.

Phương pháp 4: Format ổ qua Command Prompt

Windows + X → Command Prompt (Admin).

Gõ lần lượt (Enter sau mỗi lệnh):

Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disk # (thay # bằng số ổ USB)
Clean
Create Partition Primary
Select Partition 1
Active
Format FS=NTFS
Assign
Exit

Rút USB an toàn, cắm lại và kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 5: Xóa Volume (Delete Volume)

Windows + R → diskmgmt.msc Enter.
Chuột phải USB drive → Delete Volume.
Chọn Yes tiếp tục.
Rút và cắm lại USB, kiểm tra truy cập.
