FIX TỐT NHẤT: CPU cao do TiWorker.exe

TiWorker (Windows Modules Installer Worker) là tiến trình liên quan đến Windows Update. Lỗi thường xuất hiện sau khi update chạy. Dưới đây 5 phương pháp ngăn TiWorker chiếm dụng CPU.

Nếu một tiến trình dùng 100% hoặc phần lớn CPU, máy sẽ chậm, app lag, CPU nóng do liên tục xử lý luồng của TiWorker.exe.

Phương pháp 1: Sửa file hỏng

Chạy Restoro quét và khôi phục file hỏng/thiếu từ đây. Kiểm tra xem TiWorker.exe có giảm CPU không. Không thì sang phương pháp 2.

Phương pháp 2: Chạy System Maintenance Troubleshooter

1. Win+X → Control Panel.
2. Chọn Find and Fix Problems → View All (bên trái).
3. Chọn System Maintenance → Next.
4. Để troubleshooter chạy xong, kiểm tra kết quả.

Phương pháp 3: Chạy Windows Updates thủ công

Windows 8/8.1: Win+X → Control Panel → Windows Updates → bên trái Check for updates.

Windows 10: Win+A → All Settings → Windows Update (bên trái) → Check for Updates.

Phương pháp 4: Clean Boot

Phương pháp 5: Whitelist "msmpeng.exe" và restart Windows Update

Nguyên nhân: Windows Update bị chặn bởi Windows Defender hoặc antivirus thứ 3 → xung đột, file update hỏng, spike CPU. Fix: whitelist msmpeng.exe khỏi antivirus.

1. Mở Command Prompt (Admin).
   
2. Chạy lệnh PowerShell:

   powershell -Command Add-MpPreference -ExclusionProcess "msmpeng.exe"

3. Đã loại trừ tiến trình khỏi Windows Defender. (Nếu dùng AV thứ 3, whitelist thủ công trong cài đặt AV đó).
4. Restart Windows Update services và xóa dữ liệu update cũ. Mở CMD Admin, chạy lần lượt:

   net stop bits
   net stop wuauserv
   net stop appidsvc
   net stop cryptsvc
   Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
   Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
   net start bits
   net start wuauserv
   net start appidsvc
   net start cryptsvc

5. Reboot máy, kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 6: Chạy System File Checker (SFC)

1. Win+W → gõ cmd → chuột phải Run As Administrator.
   
2. Gõ sfc /scannow → Enter. Mất 30-50 phút.
3. Kết quả 2 trường hợp:
   • a) Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations → OK, không cần làm thêm.
   • b) Windows Resource Protection Found Corrupt Files... → chạy tiếp lệnh:

     Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

4. Chờ thông báo hoàn tất, reboot, test.

Lưu ý: Một số user báo CPU cao do "System and Compressed Memory". Nếu gặp, xem hướng dẫn system and compressed memory.
