Quay lại good ole days, Firefox có wealth excellent, powerful extensions.
Tôi nghĩ finally found addon does the trick. Nó gọi là Session Sync, và tôi happy enough viết whole article về nó.
Khám phá, khám phá
Tôi test half dozen extensions khác trước finally focus cái này. Rest simply didn't do job well. Có alpha quality version Tab Mix Plus mới, nhưng more of a stub, shell, starter cho what might one day become great tool tab và session management.
Một khi extension cài, nó có icon nhỏ bên address bar và search box. Click expand. Interface hơi busy, nhưng không too difficult master. Bắt đầu right pane. Đây, bạn có list all open tabs. Click Heart button, save session. List sessions show left pane. Bạn save multiple windows (private tabs excluded).
Bây giờ bạn có option restore session nếu thích - same window next to open tabs, hoặc new window. Bạn cũng merge tabs from/with existing sessions, cũng như merge entire sessions. Addon cũng support Firefox account sync, nice - bạn cũng manually backup profile.
Options
Addon configurable, nhưng most settings cosmetic. Bạn style look how you want. Sau đó, enable lazy loading restore (tabs không actually load cho đến khi activate). Có option configure automatic session save plus frequency, và configure hotkeys. All in all, quite neat practical, does job. Thứ missing: import/export function - ngoài account sync. Nice manually save settings và sessions. Cuối cùng, text file whatnot, JSON hoặc whatever. Tốt hơn, ability import OLD session từ TMP hoặc extensions tương tự great. Hôm nay, muốn old stuff, bạn dig through ugly text files parse URL từ awful-looking structs. But doable, means scriptable. Hence, import.
Kết luận
One small step for WebExtensions, one giant step for humanity. Thực sự sad state affairs chúng ta slowly piecing together fraction glory, power và flexibility old Firefox, với much good stuff still missing. Sorely missing. Beauty classic Firefox: no matter wild imagination, có extension cho that. Not anymore.
Session management functionality quan trọng. Thậm chí hơn bookmarks, tôi nghĩ. Và không có gì really kind đó, trừ brute save all open tabs as bookmarks folder. Có lẽ một ngày, chúng ta come full circle. Lúc này, Session Sync là breath of fresh air in room full state rehashed technologies. Take care, fellow Firefoxians.
Chào.
