Tại sao cần biết Security Type?
Mật khẩu Wi-Fi chưa đủ an toàn. Loại mã hóa (WEP, WPA, WPA2-Personal/AES, WPA3...) quyết định mức độ bảo vệ. WEP/WPA cũ dễ bị hack. Nên dùng WPA2-Personal (AES) hoặc WPA3.
3 cách kiểm tra
1. Qua cài đặt Wi-Fi (Nhanh nhất)
Windows 10: Taskbar > biểu tượng Wi-Fi > Properties của mạng đang kết nối > cuộn xuống Properties > xem Security type.
Windows 11: Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > click mạng đang kết nối > xem Security type ngay.
2. Qua Network and Sharing Center (Control Panel)
- Win + R >
control> Network and Sharing Center. - Bên trái: Change adapter settings.
- Double-click card Wi-Fi > Wireless Properties > tab Security.
- Xem Security type và Encryption type.
3. Dùng lệnh netsh (Command Prompt/PowerShell)
CMD Admin: netsh wlan show interfaces
Tìm dòng Authentication (ví dụ: WPA2-Personal, WPA3-Personal, WEP...).
Khuyến nghị: Cấu hình router dùng WPA2-AES hoặc WPA3. Xem thêm: "How to find Wi-Fi password in Windows".
