Cách thêm Safe Mode vào menu Boot Windows 10

Safe Mode (Chế độ an toàn) là chế độ khởi động chẩn đoán: tắt mọi driver/app thứ 3, chỉ nạp driver cơ bản để gỡ rối. Trước đây bấm F8 khi boot để vào Safe Mode, nhưng Windows 10 phức tạp hơn. Cách dễ nhất: thêm trực tiếp Safe Mode vào menu Boot.

Có 3 loại Safe Mode: Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Có thể đặt hiển thị 2-3 giây trên menu Boot.

Cách thêm Safe Mode vào menu Boot Windows 10

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục hệ thống trước khi thực hiện.

Phương pháp 1: Qua System Configuration (msconfig) – Dễ nhất

  1. Mở cmd → chạy: bcdedit /copy {current} /d "Safe Mode"
    Có thể đổi tên: "Windows 10 Safe Mode". Tên này hiển thị trên menu boot.
  2. Đóng cmd → Windows + R → msconfig → Enter.
  3. Tab Boot → chọn mục vừa tạo ("Safe Mode" hoặc "Windows 10 Safe Mode").
  4. Tích "Safe boot" dưới Boot options.
  5. Đặt Timeout = 30 giây → tích "Make all boot settings permanent".
    Timeout = thời gian chờ chọn OS trên menu boot.
  6. Apply → OK → Yes cảnh báo.
  7. Restart → menu boot sẽ có tùy chọn Safe Mode.

Phương pháp 2: Qua Command Prompt (bcdedit) – Nâng cao

  1. Mở cmd → chạy bcdedit.
  2. Tìm mục Windows Boot Loader có description = "Windows 10" → ghi nhớ identifier.
  3. Chạy lệnh cho loại Safe Mode muốn thêm: 
    bcdedit /copy {IDENTIFIER} /d "Safe Mode"
bcdedit /copy {IDENTIFIER} /d "Safe Mode with Networking"
bcdedit /copy {IDENTIFIER} /d "Safe Mode with Command Prompt"
    Thay {IDENTIFIER} bằng giá trị thực. VD: bcdedit /copy {current} /d "Windows 10 Safe Mode"
  4. Ghi nhớ identifier mới của entry Safe Mode vừa tạo (VD: {a896ec27-58b2-11e8-879d-f9e0baf6e977}).
  5. Chạy lệnh cấu hình safe boot cho identifier đó: 
    Safe Mode: bcdedit /set {IDENTIFIER} safeboot minimal
Safe Mode with Networking: bcdedit /set {IDENTIFIER} safeboot network
Safe Mode with Command Prompt: bcdedit /set {IDENTIFIER} safeboot minimal
  6. Nếu dùng Safe Mode with Command Prompt, chạy thêm: bcdedit /set {IDENTIFIER} safebootalternateshell yes
  7. Đóng cmd → reboot.

Phương pháp 3: Xóa Safe Mode khỏi menu Boot

  1. Mở cmd → chạy bcdedit.
  2. Tìm entry có description = "Safe Mode" → ghi nhớ identifier.
  3. Chạy: bcdedit /delete {IDENTIFIER}
    VD: bcdedit /delete {054cce21-a39e-11e4-99e2-de9099f7b7f1}
  4. Đóng cmd → reboot.
