Official Twitter iPad App
App Twitter chính thức cho iPad đầu tiên. Chạy tốt, nhưng UI độc đáo so với web Twitter.
1. Cài Twitter app từ App Store (iTunes hoặc trực tiếp iPad).
2. Mở app, tap icon, thấy layout đẹp cho màn hình iPad. Mở mặc định ở Timeline.
3. Bên trái: Timeline, Mentions, Messages, Lists, Profile, Search.
4. Ví dụ đọc List. Mở cột mới bên phải, dễ theo dõi người follow theo sở thích.
5. Gửi tweet: UI giấy note thú vị. Icon thêm location, attachment, rút gọn URL.
6. Gửi xong thấy trong timeline iPad hoặc web. Official Twitter App iPad直观 dễ dùng.
HootSuite for iPad
App Twitter thú vị khác có feature thêm: HootSuite for iPad. Tích hợp Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare. Có Push Notifications, Message Scheduling, URL Shortener built-in...
1. Lần đầu mở HootSuite, show Streams, Home Feed, Mentions trong cột riêng.
2. Gửi tweet: control bar làm action khác. Thêm ảnh, location, schedule message thời gian cụ thể – feature hay.
3. Tap settings Add Accounts, manage preferences...
4. Settings → Social Networks thêm Twitter account khác, Facebook, Foursquare. Tap cái muốn thêm.
5. Sign in account chọn... ở đây thêm Facebook.
6. Cho phép thêm/xóa stream khác để monitor.
Nếu muốn free iPad app Twitter có feature extra cool, HootSuite lựa chọn tốt.
Twitterrific for iPad
Twitterrific for iPad free (ad supported) twitter client. Feature thú vị: Instapaper – tap giữ link để save Instapaper đọc sau. Feature khác: filter tweet, translate tweet, chạy cả iPhone & iPad – một app cho 2 thiết bị.
1. Khởi động: prompt login Twitter hoặc tạo mới.
2. Sau login: list tất cả stream, list, favorites...
3. Tap view profile icon xem profile, vào recent/favorite tweet, followers, following.
4. Ví dụ gửi tweet Twitterrific. Dễ như app khác. Thêm ảnh, rút gọn URL, clear text nếu viết lại.
5. Nhược điểm: free version có quảng cáo.
4. In-app upgrade mua Premium $4.99 cho feature thêm và bỏ quảng cáo.
Tóm lại, Twitterrific free cho feature cơ bản, nhưng quảng cáo có thể chán. $4.99 Premium hơi đắt so với giá trị.
Echofon for iPad
Free (ad supported) Twitter app khác: Echofon for iPad. Dễ dùng, UI trực quan. Nếu dùng Wi-Fi, stream Timeline... không cần refresh liên tục.
1. Mở Echofon, prompt login Twitter. Có option follow họ trên Twitter feed hay không.
2. Sau login: timeline Twitter, bên trái chọn category Twitter cung cấp.
3. Duyệt stream (ví dụ @ Mentions)... tap message chọn option từ menu.
3. Ví dụ reply bạn bè geeky talk, bật Geotagging hoặc thêm ảnh tweet.
4. Nếu dùng @ Mention trong tweet, gợi ý list người follow khi gõ... như web Twitter.
5. Cũng ad supported, in-app purchase $4.99 bỏ quảng cáo và thêm account.
Giống Twitterrific, Echofon free cơ bản nhưng có quảng cáo. Không xem multi-column như HootSuite.
TweetDeck for iPad
TweetDeck lâu nay yêu thích trên desktop, giờ có cho iPad. Free, giao diện quen thuộc như desktop. Setup multi-account, columns, rút gọn URL...
1. Mở TweetDeck, login Twitter, thấy multi-column: All Friends, @ Messages, Direct Messages.
2. Control panel góc trên phải: Accounts & Settings, Refresh, Create tweet, Add extra columns.
3. Accounts & Settings: setup account, đổi picture service, bật Auto-Correct...
4. Tap Add Column icon, chọn loại column muốn hiển thị, add.
5. Tap compose tạo tweet mới. Keyboard + New Status screen, bắt đầu viết. Dưới màn hình message: control bar thêm GeoTagging, ảnh, rút gọn URL...
6. Thấy tweet thích, tap mở menu: Retweet, Reply. TweetDeck iPad handle Twitter tốt, nhưng thiếu thêm social network khác như desktop. Trang web họ nói sẽ cải tiến, thêm network khác ở version 2.0.
Nhiều Twitter app cho iPad, bài này cố gắng mang đến bản free tốt nhất. Mỗi app khác nhau nên thử từng cái để tìm app phù hợp nhu cầu.
