Khắc phục lỗi thiếu MSVCR120.dll trên Windows 10

Lỗi "The program can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer" xảy ra khi chạy game/ứng dụng C/C++. File MSVCR120.dll thuộc Visual C++ Redistributable Packages (Visual Studio 2013).

Các phương pháp sửa lỗi MSVCR120.dll missing

Lưu ý: Tạo điểm khôi phục. Không tải file DLL đơn lẻ từ web thứ 3 (rủi ro malware). Hãy cài gói Visual C++ Redistributable chính thức từ Microsoft.

Phương pháp 1: Chạy SFC và DISM

  1. Windows + X → Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. Chạy: sfc /scannow (nếu lỗi: sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows).
  3. Chờ xong → reboot.
  4. CMD Admin lại → chạy lần lượt:
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  5. Nếu lỗi, thử với nguồn sửa chữa (thay đường dẫn):
    Dism /Image:C:\offline /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\test\mount\windows
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\test\mount\windows /LimitAccess
  6. Reboot kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 2: Cài lại Visual C++ Redistributable Packages

  1. Truy trang Microsoft download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (MSVCR120.dll thuộc phiên bản 2013).
  2. Chọn ngôn ngữ → Download.
  3. Chọn vcredist_x64.exe (64-bit) hoặc vcredist_x86.exe (32-bit) → Next → tải về.
  4. Chạy file .exe → làm theo wizard → reboot.
  5. Nếu cài bị lỗi 0x80240017 → xem bài sửa lỗi VC++ 2015 Redistributable (ID 1003135854).

Phương pháp 3: Chạy CCleaner và Malwarebytes

Tương tự các bài trước: quét malware → CCleaner dọn dẹp file rác + registry → reboot.

Phương pháp 4: Cài đặt sạch ứng dụng báo lỗi

  1. Windows + R → appwiz.cpl → Enter.
  2. Chuột phải chương trình báo lỗi MSVCR120.dll → Gỡ cài đặt → Yes → reboot.
  3. Tải bản mới nhất từ trang chủ nhà phát hành → cài đặt → kiểm tra.

Phương pháp 5: Các bản cập nhật bổ sung

  • Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows: Tải từ Microsoft, cho phép ứng dụng dùng Windows 10 Universal CRT chạy trên Windows cũ.
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC: Nếu VC++ 2015 đã cài mà vẫn lỗi.
  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017: Một số app yêu cầu VC++ 2017 thay vì 2013/2015. Tải từ Microsoft (mục Other Tools and Frameworks).
