Cách xóa file cập nhật Windows 10 (Windows Update Files) để sửa lỗi update

Khi Windows Update bị treo, lỗi, hoặc "pending changes" không cài được → xóa file update đã tải để buộc tải lại từ đầu.

Cách 1: Xóa thư mục Temp

1. Win+R → %temp% → Enter
2. Chọn tất cả (Ctrl+A) → Delete
3. Restart máy

Cách 2: Xóa thư mục SoftwareDistribution (Khuyên dùng)

1. CMD Admin → chạy: net stop wuauserv và net stop bits
2. Mở C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution → xóa **tất cả nội dung bên trong** (hoặc đổi tên thư mục thành SoftwareDistribution.old)
3. CMD Admin → chạy: net start wuauserv và net start bits
4. Restart → Windows Update sẽ tải lại mới

Cách 3: Xóa file XML pending trong WinSxS

1. Win+R → C:\Windows\WinSxS\
2. Tìm file pending.xml → xóa (hoặc cut sang chỗ khác backup)
3. Restart

Cách 4: Reset thư mục CatRoot2

1. CMD Admin → chạy lần lượt:
   net stop cryptsvc
md %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.old
2. Xóa **nội dung** thư mục C:\Windows\System32\catroot2\ (KHÔNG xóa/đổi tên thư mục cha)
3. Chạy: net start cryptsvc
4. Thư mục sẽ tự tạo lại khi chạy Windows Update

Lưu ý: Cách 2 là hiệu quả nhất và an toàn. Luôn restart sau khi làm.
